I bought an adapter but couldn’t find the Keyspan brand and the one i bought didn’t work so be sure to get one that people have had success with assuming you can find the serial port on your machine to even use. If you don’t have a true serial port, look into search the Keyspan adapter. I am having a Creation PCuter and using Corel on windows 7… I want to connect my cutter to pc but its nt working, hits not connecting to the pc either.

Or I have to turn everything off and back on to send the job to the cutter. Daz July 22nd, What software are you using? If it’s the standard windows drivers, you’re out of luck I suppose? First off, do not use the built-in usb port of the cutter. Right-click on the setup. On win 7 it was succesfully work. How satisfied are you with this response? Man December 15th, With all that done you should be ready to use your plotter.
I am confused now. Register a new account. Neil April 17th, I understand the cutter has a serial to USB conversion and Creaton did everything fi should.
But just wait for all the typical USB issues when you cut with it How satisfied are you with this reply? I was running windows 8. Thanks in advance for any help.

I realize that the application is not running in Windows Second, in windows, there’s no guarantee at all that your usb port will come up as the same serial port number after a reboot.
So it must be the plotter and not the software.
Sign Blazer only sees the first few serial ports so if the one you want to use is over 5 you will have to right click and go to properties the put to the advanced port settings and change it to something lower.
